Do you find your pet’s warts, lumps, skin tags, etc are bothering them and don’t look that great?
We now have the answer to your problems! CryoProbe Surgery
CryoProbe is mostly used for:
- Eyelid tumors
- Skin tags
CryoProbe surgery doesn’t always require anesthetic as it’s less invasive and treats from the surface of the skin. Since anesthetic isn’t required, this is the perfect treatment for older pets and ones that have health issues. This means patients don’t need to spend the whole day at the clinic, just a few quick moments. There are also very minimal post operative limitations with this procedure.
CryoProbe procedures usually take from 5 seconds up to 30 seconds per treatment. A second application may be required depending on the depth of the lesion.
CryoProbe is a pen like tool that sprays liquid nitrous oxide at a very cold temperature to the affected area with precise accuracy, which freezes the affected tissue, which then will turn into a scab or blister while healing . This process minimizes the risk of damaging the surrounding healthy tissue, making a faster healing time.
