Dr. Renata Sedlakova, D.V.M
Veterinarian

In 1987, Dr.Sedlakova graduated from the school of Veterinary Medicine in Kosice Czechoslovakia. She immigrated to Canada in 1990. From 1992 to 1994 she worked as a Laboratory Technician at the Robarts Research Institute in London. She obtained her Master’s degree in Zoology at UWO in 1994-1996. Dr.Sedlakova was then accepted in the DVM program at the University of Guelph in 1997 and graduated with her DVM degree in 2000. After graduation she practiced small animal medicine with Dr. Francis at Northdale Animal Hospital and also at Ingersoll Veterinary Services in 2005, Western Animal Clinic 2006-2007 and Arva Animal Hospital in 2008. In her spare time, Dr.Sedlakova enjoys reading, hiking and listening to music.

Dr. Paul Francis, D.V.M
Veterinarian

Dr. Francis has considerable roots in the London area, graduating from Lucas High School in 1975. He obtained his veterinary degree from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1983. Dr. Francis practiced in Mt. Brydges Ontario for 2 years, Bramalea for 3 years, and then purchased Northdale Animal Hospital in1987 and Matthews Animal Clinic in 2003. In January 2014 Dr. Francis purchased Komoka-Kilworth Animal clinic and devotes his time to small animal medicine and surgery. He is a busy family man, and shares his home with several cats, dogs and an African Grey parrot. Leisure time is spent enjoying his interests of competitive powerlifting, raising Short horned cattle and fishing at his cottage.

Cathy, V.T 

Technician

Cathy has been a veterinary technician since 1989. She was a head veterinary technician for 28 years and worked at SPCA in New Brunswick for 5 years. Cathy recently returned to Ontario and is very excited to join our great team and meet all your furry family members. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her 2 dogs and family.

Gina, A.H.T.
Technician

Gina has been an Animal Health Technician since 1984 and has been with the Komoka-Kilworth team since 1998. Her compassion and skills are part of why she is loved by clients and patients alike. Gina’s hobbies outside of work include gardening, walking and cycling.

Kelsey

Receptionist

Kelsey graduated in December 2019 as a Vet Office Assistant from Robertson College. She’s always loved being around and taking care of animals throughout her whole life. Currently she has a puppy and 2 cats. In her spare time you can find her with her pets or horseback riding. She’s excited to be a part of our reception team and continue learning.

Stephanie
Receptionist

Stephanie is part of our receptionist team. She graduated from the Veterinary Office Administration Program at the University of Guelph Ridgetown Campus in 2014. She grew up surrounded by various pets from dogs to hamsters and currently has 3 cats. In her spare time she likes to go for long drives and to spend time with family and friends. She’s excited to be apart of our team and to meet you and your furry family members.

Gillian
Animal Care Attendant

Gillian is our animal care attendant. She has been in the animal health field as an animal care attendant for the last 13 years. When outside of work Gillian can be found enjoying her time with her family of 2 little boys, husband and several fur babies.

Cristin

Animal Care Attendant 

Cristin joined our wonderful team in May of 2019. She grew up near Komoka with lots of animals (horses, cows, chickens, dogs, cats) and has always loved animals and knew she wanted to pursue a career involved with them from a young age. She graduated from Westervelt College in 2016 as a Medical Office Administration/ Assistant. Currently Crisitin lives in Strathroy with her husband, 2 sons and multiple pets. In her spare time Cristin enjoys spending time with her family, going for walks and reading.
